Oregon/California Coast Trip, August 2004

This trip was a loop north through the California gold country and central Oregon to the Columbia River, then back south along the coast.

Day 1: SoCal to Angel's Camp
Day 2: Angel's Camp to Weed (back on I-5 for a few miles)
Day 3: From Weed through Oregon via 97 and 197 to the Dalles, then west to Cascade Locks
Day 4: Mt. Hood and old Columbia River Highway loop
Day 5: Across the Bridge of the Gods and west through Washington to the coast, then south through Astoria to Newport, Oregon
Day 6: Layover in Newport (rained all day)
Day 7: Newport to Eureka
Day 8: Eureka to Tomales Bay, then east to Stockton
Day 9: From Stockton through Gilroy to Monterey, Big Sur, Ventura, and home.
